Job Title: BuyerWe are looking for a Buyer to manage supplier relationships and inventory in a cost effective and timely way, supporting production needs in a fast paced environment.You ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the best outcomes across cost, quality, and delivery, supporting overall procurement targets.Key Responsibilities of this Buyer role:The Buyer will manage a portfolio of suppliers and day to day purchasing activityPlace orders in line with demand and lead timesMaintain accurate system data and safety stock levelsMonitor supplier performance against delivery targetsThe Buyer will negotiate prices and challenge cost increasesWork to reduce stock holding and obsolescenceSupport resolution of quality and delivery issuesEscalate risks and issues when requiredBuild strong working relationships across the businessExperience Required for this Buyer role:Minimum 3 years experience as a BuyerManufacturing or engineering background essentialStrong Excel skills (essential)The Buyer will need to have Purchasing System knowledge such as an ERP/ MRP system Thank you for your application.
