Buyer - Hampshire - £30k

Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading electronics design and manufacturing business. They are looking for a proactive Buyer to join their purchasing team and play a vital role in cost estimating and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates from technical drawings and specifications

• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to gather essential information

• Raise purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to align with production plans

• Support supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms

• Monitor supply chain performance and proactively manage shortages

Key Skills Required:

• Experience in a similar purchasing/procurement or estimating role

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MRP systems

The salary will be up to £30k depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
