Supply PlannerLocation: Christchurch Contract Type: Full-time/ Temporary, ongoing up to 23 months We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Supply Planner to join a leading global organisation within the aviation aftermarket sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to play a key role in driving inventory optimisation and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies, analysing demand patterns, and collaborating with global suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials. Your expertise in planning and supply chain management will help to improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and minimise waste.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage planning activities, including forecasting accuracy, MRP messages, lead time checks, and safety stock adjustmentsDevelop and implement effective inventory strategies to optimise stock levelsAnalyse demand trends and forecast future inventory requirementsWork closely with internal suppliers across the US, EMEA, and APAC regionsMonitor supply performance and implement corrective actions when requiredAllocate materials between spares and repairs in line with global supply constraintsRequirementsMinimum 2-3 years'' experience in a buyer or planner roleAt least 3 years'' experience in aftermarket planning or supply chain managementStrong analytical skills and proficiency in MS ExcelProficiency in SAP ..... full job details .....
