Job Description We are currently on the look out for a Buyer to join our Purchasing Team, within the role you will be rresponsible for non-metal sourcing and procurement for the business. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost effectiveness and maintaining positive vendor relationships. Key responsibilities Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and reliability Negotiate favourable contracts, terms and prices with suppliers Manage the full procurement process from end to end Take full ownership leading contracts and categories you are assigned Manage contracts efficiently and strategically lead commercial discussions, contract processes, and conduct regular reviews Proactively build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance Key skills Strong proven experience as a Buyer with the ability to negotiate Strong negotiation and communication skills Experienced with ERP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experienced with supplier management and relationship building Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong commercial knowledge and contract management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Let s shape the future of British manufacturing together!
