Business Support Officer (Housing Adaptations and Grants)Location: BerkshireContract: 12-Month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £14.59 per hour About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and organised Business Support Officer to join the Housing Adaptations and Grants Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract for a Local Authority in Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of essential housing services that make a real difference to the community.You will provide efficient administrative, technical, and customer-focused support to ensure the smooth running of the service.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer enquiries via email, telephone, and written correspondenceInput and maintain accurate data on service databasesProcess customer applications, ensuring validation and completenessGenerate reports and assist with Freedom of Information and statistical requestsManage shared mailboxes and allocate enquiries appropriatelySupport financial processes, including processing invoices and related documentationArrange meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes when requiredMaintain electronic and physical records, including scanning, filing, and document managementLiaise with internal departments and external agencies to support service deliveryAssist with updating website content and maintaining accurate informationEnsure compliance with Data Protection, confidentiality, and council policiesProvide cover and support across the ..... full job details .....
