Whether you are fresh out of school or college or looking for a complete career change, Mears can offer you a great foundation to your future career and beyond.About the roleDuring your apprenticeship within the Enfield branch, you will be part of the Housing and Welfare team. The main duties will be supporting the team with general administration role. To listen, observe and participate in a range of tasks which will enable you gain new skills and knowledge that contribute to the successful achievement of the apprenticeship programme. The successful candidate will be learning about commercial side, reconciliation, laws, invoicing, contractual and supply agreements, understanding of invoicing and invoicing reconciliation. In a position to set up utilities for properties we take on and resolve any queries needed. You will be involved in lots of different duties including, liaising, and communicating with stakeholders, clients and contractors, compile reports, answering queries, complaints and compliments via email or phone, undertake administrative takes such as typing up notes and attending meetings.Reception dutiesMeeting and greeting visitorsProduction of visitor passes and reception securityPost room duties such as dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.Order, distribute and maintain stationery stock levels.Carry out any ad-hoc administration duties plus printing, binding and laminating of documents that is required by the businessEnsuring office compliance by arranging any annual compliance testing that is required.Ensuring documentation is in date and working with building landlord to allow access to offices as neededRole Criteria:GCSE Grade 4 or above in both Math’s and EnglishOrganised, reliable and adaptableA strong work ethicHonest / trustworthy and demonstrate the ability to work using own initiative as well as working as part of a teamPositive attitude and the ability to keep calm under pressureCapacity to absorb new information quickly and accurately.Self –motivated, self-disciplined and enthusiasticAttention to detail.All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out a Background, Identity, Security clearance and BPSS check. For these checks to be completed, we will require from you the relevant identification, including Proof of Address, References, a valid passport and proof that you have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.Benefits
