Business Support Administrator - fixed term until 01/09/2026Wester Hailes Healthy Living CentreSalary: £26,337 - £28,835 • Hours: 36 per weekThis post is subject to a basic disclosure check.We''re looking for a proactive and organised Business Support Administrator to join our team and play a key part in helping our services run smoothly. This role offers a solid foundation in administration, communication, and customer service within a professional public sector setting. It is suitable for people at various stages of their career, including school leavers, graduates, those returning to work, or anyone seeking a meaningful and stable role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide general business and admin support to keep daily operations running smoothly, including cash handling and dealing with financial transactions.
Manage and organise information, including working with confidential data, documents, and records responsibly.
Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, word processing, and communication tasks.
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to provide helpful, professional service.
Help the team meet important deadlines through strong organisation and attention to detail.
Utilise various software packages for data entry and extraction.

There are no line management responsibilities associated with this role.
The post will be based at South East Locality Office and The Access Place; however, the role may require the successful candidate to work at any Council location.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 and 08:30 to 15:55 on Fridays. The role is subject to flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
