We are a growing recruitment business looking for a confident and proactive Business Development Researcher to join us on a temporary ongoing contract. Job Title: Business Development ResearcherContract: Temporary OngoingLocation: Darlington/ Office-BasedWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 8am-4pmSector: Recruitment This is an outbound, phone-based role focused on fact-finding, market intelligence, and building a strong pipeline of prospective clients for our senior team to develop.About the Role: You will be responsible for calling businesses across our target sectors to: Introduce our recruitment servicesIdentify whether they currently use a recruitment agencyEstablish which agency they useConfirm if they are under contractFind out when that contract is due for renewalGather accurate contact and decision-maker detailsBuild and maintain a structured prospect list for follow-up Your work will directly support our business development strategy and help create future sales opportunities.About you: Confident and professional telephone mannerClear, engaging voice with strong communication skillsComfortable making outbound cold callsNaturally inquisitive and good at asking the right questionsResilient and positive attitudeOrganised and able to record information accuratelyPrevious sales, telesales, recruitment, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential This role would suit someone early in their sales or recruitment career who wants to gain ..... full job details .....
