Business Change Manager – Construction

Location: Dartford, Kent

We’re a forward-thinking, rapidly growing construction company looking for a Business Change Manager to join our close-knit team and play a pivotal role in managing and evolving the non-core operations of the business.

This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll be responsible for implementing technology across the business, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring our internal systems and culture support our growth and innovation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Technology Implementation & IT Management
  • Lead and manage the roll-out of new technologies and digital systems
  • Liaise with external IT and software suppliers
  • Oversee basic internal IT infrastructure and support

Non-Core Business Operations

  • Full responsibility for non-core operational functions
  • Streamline systems, processes, and supplier management
  • Champion efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement

Office & Culture Leadership

  • Manage and nurture a positive office culture
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the office and support functions
  • Drive staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives

ISO Quality Standards

  • Manage and maintain the company’s ISO Quality standards and compliance
  • Embed a quality-first mindset across the business

Team Leadership

  • Direct line management of the Fleet & Warehouse Manager and Senior Administrator
  • Coach, support, and develop team members for high performance

About You:

  • Proven experience managing office operations in a similar role (Construction sector experience is a bonus)
  • Strong technology skills – confident in implementing systems and working with IT/software providers
  • Hands-on and proactive – you’re a doer as well as a thinker
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small but diverse team
  • Comfortable reporting to and working closely with senior leadership
