The Role

Our Financial Services client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst - Data Migration & Mapping to support a Regulatory Reporting project.

You will be responsible for mapping and validating data between a Core Banking Platform and a Regulatory Reporting Platform, ensuring data is accurate, complete and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Map data between source and target systems.
• Understand data structures, relationships and business requirements.
• Identify data quality issues, including duplicates and missing data.
• Support data cleansing and standardisation.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Document data mapping rules and requirements.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies.

Key Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Business Analyst on data migration or data transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of data mapping and data structures.
• Experience with data quality, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Building Society or Banking experience highly desirable.
