Within Solution Sales are multiple teams, including Managed Service Sales, which spans across all CDW growth pillars.The role of the Managed Service Sales Business Development Manager focuses on the following core areas:Result-driven sales overlay resource focused on delivering successful financial metrics for the businessSales Specialist and Subject Matter Expert across Managed ServicesLeading new business Managed Service opportunities across all CDW Managed Service go-to-markets, including Managed and as-a-Service, Maintenance and Support, Service Desk and Experience Services, and Technology Lifecycle ServicesCreate and execute on a SMART business plan that delivers against targets and KPI’sMaximize revenue and GP growth by driving close partnerships internally and externally and aligning with CDW’s Managed Services growth objectives, supported by joint initiatives per the agreed business planWhat you will doEstablish new relationships within CDW and externally with clients/prospects to drive performance goals (e.g., revenue and profit contribution)Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives/KPIsCollaborate with internal CDW Sales and Specialist teams to identify new opportunities and proactively develop converged pipelineOwn the execution of the business plan against defined milestones and metricsApply knowledge and subject matter expertise as the sales lead on opportunities across all CDW Managed Service go-to-markets, offers, and capabilitiesPromote relevant initiatives and campaigns to maximise sales opportunitiesOwn and manage your services pipeline and forecast where relevantWhat we expect of youDemonstrable experience delivering successful sales growth – a structured sales cycle from start to finishUnderstanding of the Managed Services market, including experience selling across service categories and addressing buyer challengesExperience in sales environments contributing to proposals, bid responses, and customer meetingsExcellent interpersonal skills (articulate and engaging)Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external customersStrong planning, organisation, and reporting skillsDesirable experience of working as an overlay or similarPreferred skillset, experience, and qualitiesProactive in building relationshipsPositive and energetic attitudeSelf-starter with ability to work independentlyDesire to “do the right thing” and take personal ownershipTenacity and an assertive mentalityAttention to detailCompetence in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPointProactive in seeking personal improvementAgile approach to mobile workingWe make technology work so people can do great things.CDW is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
