About the Role

As a Building Surveyor in Cornwall, you will join a respected independent consultancy delivering professional and project-based services across residential, commercial, and public sector portfolios. This permanent role offers a salary between £35,000 and £50,000. Your responsibilities will include condition surveys, defect analysis, contract administration, and project management for a diverse client base. You''ll work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and public sector projects, undertaking a mix of professional building surveying services alongside project work. No two days are the same, with responsibilities ranging from surveys and reports through to project delivery and contract administration.
We''re keen to speak with Building Surveyors who have a minimum of two years'' relevant experience, through to experienced Senior Building Surveyors looking for their next challenge.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years'' experience within Building Surveying.
- Experience delivering a range of professional surveying services.
- Contract administration experience (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- The ability to manage projects and build strong client relationships.
- Working towards, or already achieved, MRICS status is advantageous but not essential.
