Building SurveyorLocation: LondonType: Temporary ongoingRate: Up to 43 per hour UmbrellaHours: 36 hours per weekSocial Housing Experience RequiredDaniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known client based in the London area, who are looking for a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team.Key Responsibilities - Building SurveyorCarrying out property inspections and condition surveys on residential and commercial buildingsIdentifying defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirementsPreparing survey reports with findings and recommendationsManaging planned and reactive maintenance worksOverseeing contractors on site and monitoring quality of workEnsuring works are completed in line with health and safety regulationsAssisting with damp and mould investigations and remedial solutionsPreparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimatesLiaising with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departmentsSupporting refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projectsMonitoring budgets and ensuring value for money on projectsKeeping accurate records, reports, and compliance documentationConducting post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standardEnsuring buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirementsProviding technical advice and support to colleagues and residents ..... full job details .....
