Building Surveyor

Key Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor: Conduct thorough building inspections, identifying and assessing the condition of structures. Prepare detailed reports and recommend solutions for any identified issues or defects. Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, health and safety standards, and regulations. Provide advice on repairs, maintenance, and improvements for both residential and commercial properties. Assist in managing the design and implementation of building projects. Collaborate with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes. Requirements of the Building Surveyor: Degree in Building Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2-3 years practical experience working within another building consultancy role Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and health and safety standards. Experience in surveying commercial or retail properties. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
