Building Services Fabric Engineer - Painting and Decorating Bias Location: Mile End, London Salary: 50,000- 51,500 Job Type: Permanent Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off The Role We are looking for an experienced Building Services Fabric Engineer to join a large and varied commercial estate, working as part of an established engineering and facilities management team. This is a multi-skilled position with a strong fabric maintenance and painting/decorating bias, making it particularly suited to someone who has come from a skilled fabric, maintenance or building services background. You will be responsible for carrying out planned, reactive and corrective maintenance across the estate, ensuring buildings and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Alongside your fabric expertise, you will need a good working understanding of wider mechanical and electrical building services and be comfortable working alongside specialist engineering teams and contractors. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, reactive and corrective fabric maintenance across a large commercial estate. Complete painting and decorating works, including preparation, finishing and remedial works. Undertake carpentry and joinery repairs, including doors and associated hardware. Carry out repairs to flooring, ceiling, walls and other internal building finishes.
