Building Services Engineer Newark £40,000 - £60,000, depending on experience Job Summary We are looking for a Building Services Engineer to follow the RIBA plan of work and support the design, analysis, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) building systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning design concepts into practical, sustainable, and compliant engineering solutions, while working closely with colleagues, clients, and project teams throughout the project life cycle. The role offers the chance to contribute to high-quality project delivery through a combination of technical knowledge, digital design skills, and on-site support. Key Responsibilities - Engineering Design: Develop thoughtful, low-carbon mechanical or electrical designs from early concepts through to final construction details, helping bring each project vision to life in a practical and sustainable way. - Modelling and Physics: Prepare accurate engineering calculations, load assessments, and detailed 3D coordination models using Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD, supporting wellinformed design decisions across each project. - Compliance and Safety: Support the delivery of designs that meet relevant Building Regulations, Industry Guidances/Standards, BREEAM requirements, and safety standards under the Building Safety Act, contributing to safe, compliant, and highquality project outcomes. - Project Documentation: Prepare clear and detailed technical ..... full job details .....
