Builder (Multi Skilled)

Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Builder to join a leading organisation within the social housing sector, carrying out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works across occupied and void residential properties throughout the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled all-round tradesperson looking to secure a long-term position, with the successful candidate initially joining on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent following a successful period. The role involves undertaking a broad range of building repairs, maintenance and planned works, delivering high-quality repairs and improvements to customers'' homes. Key Responsibilities Carrying out general building repairs and maintenance to occupied and void properties. Completing internal and external building works. Brickwork repairs and repointing. Groundworks, excavation and pipework repairs. Structural repairs and remedial works. Studwork, dry lining, plastering and patch repairs. Joinery works including 1st and 2nd fix carpentry. Wall and floor tiling. Fencing repairs and installations. Window repairs and replacements. Roof repair and refurbishment works. Completing works safely, efficiently and to a high standard whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Requirements To be considered, you will ideally have: NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade or equivalent qualification.
