North Northamptonshire is expanding its Family Hubs network in line with the national Best Start for Life programme, and we''re looking for an enthusiastic, child-centred BSIL Early Years Practitioner to join the team. Interviews will take place on the 24 and 25 September 2025.Responsibilities
Plan and deliver play-based learning sessions in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Support parents to understand and nurture their child''s development through practical, everyday strategiesDeliver evidence-based parenting programmes, including for families with SENDPromote school readiness by building confidence in the home learning environmentWork closely with colleagues across health, early years, and social care as a Family Help ChampionContribute to assessments and help shape intervention plansQualifications
Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or similarExperience working directly with young children and their familiesStrong knowledge of child development, parenting support, and early intervention approachesThe ability to work flexibly and travel across North Northamptonshire as requiredConfidence in responding to safeguarding concerns appropriately and in line with proceduresIf you''re also trained in Signalong, First Aid, or Food Hygiene, that''s a bonus - but not essential.Great to have
