Broadcast Warehouse Technician Chessington £27,500 DOE + OvertimeThe RoleYou''ll be responsible for the preparation, testing, maintenance and deployment of professional communications and data equipment for prestigious live and broadcast events worldwide. This will include radio equipment, analogue and digital wired and wireless communications systems and data infrastructure equipment. You''ll also form part of the international licensing team.Duties Building professional communications and IT systems to a high standard.Preparing communications and data equipment for live and broadcast projects.Testing, fault-finding, servicing and maintaining equipment.Cleaning equipment and carrying out quality control checks.Carrying out regular PAT testing across departmental equipment.Managing and maintaining radio, wired and wireless communications and data infrastructure equipment.Providing technical support to warehouse staff, apprentices and freelance crew, both in the warehouse and remotely.Managing technical information including licensing, code-plugs and programming requirements.Supporting international licensing requirements.Working closely with the RF and Microphone department to share technical knowledge and workload.Liaising with Operations, Prep/De-prep and Warehouse teams regarding equipment preparation, individual project requirements and deadlines.Completing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate information within company IT systems.Supporting the wider team to ..... full job details .....
