The Role:
As a MET Technician, you''ll be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and trim work required to return damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle and reassemble vehicles in accordance with job cards and repair estimates.
- Work to manufacturer methods and safety standards.
- Identify and report any additional repair work required.
- Ensure all parts are fitted correctly and unused parts are returned for credit.
- Complete all jobs to a high standard within estimated timescales.
- Supervise and support non-qualified or junior team members where needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Bodyshop MET Technician role.
- ATA Accreditation (preferred but not essential).
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to follow repair methods and complete work within timeframes.
