This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking property team and deliver exceptional living standards across their growing portfolio.They’re now looking for a Block Manager to join their Property team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of residential blocks, financial control, leaseholder engagement, maintenance coordination, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and visibility across the wider business.What You’ll Do
Prepare and manage budgets for all managed blocks, including service charge and ground rent collectionOversee financial transactions, ensuring accurate records and timely paymentsChase arrears and develop processes to minimise late paymentsArrange and authorise repairs, replacements, and maintenance works within common areasEnsure full compliance with all relevant health and safety regulationsOrganise and facilitate meetings with leaseholders, contractors, and other stakeholdersHandle insurance renewals and claims, ensuring cost-effectiveness and swift resolutionUnderstand and adhere to lease agreements and legal requirementsConduct regular inspections of blocks, ensuring corrective actions are completed promptlyKeep all professional accreditations up to date and support ongoing professional developmentWhat We’re Looking For
Minimum IRPM Level 3 (or equivalent) qualificationAt least 3 years'' experience in a block management roleExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlinesConfident in health and safety regulations and complianceIT literate, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with property management systemsA proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work collaborativelyFull UK driving licence with occasional travel to managed sitesWhat You’ll Get In Return
