HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver (C+E) - 3 Month FTCHowdon, Tyne and Wear£37,756 per annum (£16.88 per hour)Fixed Term Contract - 3 Months43 hours per week Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Tanker Driver based at Howdon.This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the region''s leading utility companies, playing a key role in supporting wastewater operations across the North East.As an HGV C+E Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water''s sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities at Bran Sands and Howdon.Key responsibilities include:Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficientlyEnsuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirementsCarrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standardsMaintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all timesSafely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health and Safety proceduresPromoting and supporting the "Everyone Home Safe Everyday" cultureDriving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible mannerDelivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionallyWhat We''re Looking ForEssential requirements:Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) LicenceMinimum 12 months'' Class 1 driving experienceValid Driver CPC qualificationValid Digital Tachograph CardGood ..... full job details .....
