Our client is an expanding Lloyd’s Broker who is seeking to recruit a Binding Authority Technician to join its Technical Binding Authority Team.You will report directly to the Binding Authority Team Leader, a highly skilled and approachable professional with several years of experience in the business. He has an in-depth understanding of the Binding Authority market and is eager to share his expertise.This role is ideal for someone with experience in the Binders market who is motivated to develop their skills further and significantly enhance their market knowledge.Key Responsibilities

Handle North American Binding Authority accounts, supporting brokers and account managers with contract input and invoice productionEnsure timely processing of bureau and non-bureau underwriter payments and FDO submissionsWork with brokers on contract to ensure accuracy and best practice in market closingsAnalyse written and paid bordereaux, prepare statistical reports, and calculate profit commissionsManage premium processing, assist with cash allocation, and resolve Xchanging queriesMonitor contract status and timelines, providing updates and reports to internal and external stakeholdersKey Skills and Experience

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience in Binding Authorities, particularly across technical processes, gained within either the broking or underwriting environment.You will need strong communication skills, alongside the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively. The successful candidate will demonstrate a collaborative approach, working supportively with colleagues, while also being able to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines when required.All applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK
