We are seeking a Bid Manager to join our expanding commercial team. The role involves leading the bid process to win new contracts and support business growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and some familiarity with the creative or marketing sectors.In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will own the creation of persuasive bids and proposals, manage deadlines, and ensure high-quality submissions. You will work closely with various teams to craft responses that meet client needs and align with company objectives.Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Bid Management:
Lead the entire bid lifecycle from qualification to submission and post-bid feedback.Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective bid strategies aligned with company offerings and market needs.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with different departments to gather information and ensure cohesive bid responses.Content Creation:
Write, refine, and proofread engaging proposals tailored to specific clients and opportunities.Timeline and Resource Coordination:
Manage bid schedules to ensure timely and high-standard submissions.Market Insight:
Stay updated on company services and market trends to inform bid strategies.Process Improvement:
Maintain and enhance bid content libraries and processes for continuous improvement.Reporting:
Track and report on bid activities, outcomes, and resource use.Skills and Experience
Experience managing bids, preferably in creative, marketing, or fast-paced commercial environments.Knowledge of procurement processes in public and private sectors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.Ability to motivate cross-functional teams.Familiarity with marketing tools, digital strategies, or AI applications in bids is advantageous.Solid project management and organizational skills.Essential Attributes
