Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Bid Director to take ownership of the full bid management lifecycle within the service sector. This role requires a leader who can operate at both a strategic and operational level setting direction, overseeing complex bids, and ensuring the delivery of compelling, high-quality submissions that demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the end-to-end bid management process, from initial qualification through to submission and post-bid review. Oversee, mentor, and develop the bid team to deliver consistently high standards. Drive the production of complex, high-quality bids that reflect a deep understanding of client requirements and competitive positioning. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across commercial, technical, and operational teams to ensure bid strategies are aligned with business objectives. Ensure all submissions demonstrate strong commercial acumen, competitive pricing strategies, and risk management. Maintain in-depth knowledge of best practices in bid management and apply continuous improvement to processes and outcomes.
