Belt Fabricator and Field Service EngineerLocation: Dukinfield (with travel across the UK and Ireland) Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 + Overtime + Benefits Hours: Full Time, PermanentWorkshop DutiesFabrication and assembly of conveyor belts to customer specificationsBelt splicing, joining and repairsFitting cleats, guides, sidewalls and other belt accessoriesQuality checking completed work before dispatchPreparing materials and equipment for site installationsMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentField Service DutiesInstalling conveyor belts and associated products on customer sitesCarrying out planned maintenance and inspectionsDiagnosing mechanical faults and equipment issuesAttending breakdowns and completing emergency repairsReplacing belts, rollers, bearings and conveyor componentsCompleting service reports and job documentationProviding professional customer support and technical adviceAdhering to site health and safety procedures at all timesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience in conveyor belting, mechanical fitting or maintenance engineeringStrong practical and mechanical skillsThe ability to use hand and power tools confidentlyExperience working within manufacturing, production or engineering environmentsGood problem-solving and fault-finding abilityExcellent communication skillsA flexible approach to travel and occasional overnight staysA full UK Driving LicenceDesirable ExperienceConveyor belt ..... full job details .....
