Behaviour Therapist Location: Greenwich, SE10 Contract: Long-term to Permanent Day Rate: 115- 130 Start Date: ASAP Commutable From: Lewisham, Bexley, Woolwich, Charlton, Blackheath The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behaviour Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in the Greenwich area. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, and communication difficulties, and is committed to providing a structured, therapeutic environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of behaviour interventions who is passionate about supporting young people to regulate emotions, build independence, and access learning effectively. Your Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 and small-group behaviour therapy and intervention sessions Implement evidence-based strategies (e.g. ABA-informed approaches, behaviour plans) Support pupils with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and social skills Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and therapists to ensure consistent support Monitor and record pupil progress, adapting interventions where needed Support behaviour management across the school environment Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly ASD/SEMH Background in behaviour support, therapy, psychology, or related field Strong understanding of behaviour intervention strategies Excellent ..... full job details .....
