They have a child in Year 3 with an EHCP - the child has SEMH needs and will require someone who understands these needs. There is a combination of physical and cognitive delay in this child. The primary school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has a true passion for working with children with SEN/ Autism. The child displays some challenging behaviour so the primary school are looking for someone with excellent behaviour management skills. This is a long-term, full time opportunity and will require a teaching assistant who is fully committed to their role. Ideally the teaching assistant will have had previous experience in a similar position working with special needs in a school.
