Job Title: Behaviour Mentor Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Start Date: ASAP Duration: Full Academic Year (with potential for extension) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pmAbout the Role:We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive secondary school in the Middleton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students'' lives and work as part of a committed pastoral and inclusion team.This full-time position is ideal for someone who has previous experience working in secondary school settings, particularly with students displaying challenging behaviour or those in need of additional emotional support.Key Responsibilities:Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with behaviour management strategiesWork on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeingImplement behaviour support plans in collaboration with teaching and pastoral staffHelp to reduce exclusions and improve student engagementAct as a positive role model, building strong and trusting relationships with pupilsRequirements:Previous experience working in a secondary school environment is essentialStrong understanding of behaviour management strategies and safeguarding proceduresCalm, resilient and empathetic approach to supporting young peopleAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independentlyMust be available to work 5 days per week and ..... full job details .....
