Behaviour Mentor - Wythenshawe:

Are you a behaviour mentor looking for your next long-term role? Prospero Teaching are currently working with a large alternative provision in the Wythenshawe area, to recruit experienced behaviour mentors to start ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils, and have a long-term impact on their lives, progress and development.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEN/SEMH
• Building positive relationships and rapport with pupils and their families, encouraging them to engage with learning and make progress - both academically and as young people
• Collaborating with other staff members and external agencies to best support development
• Assisting with both learning and vocational activities, on and off site.

• Location: Wythenshawe
• Position: Behaviour Mentor
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: -120 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing, Long-Term

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Team Teach training is highly desired for this position
• Sports Coaching background, supporting young people in the comunity

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
