Location: Brent, North West LondonPay: 100- 120 per day PAYEContract: Full-time Long-termStart Date: October 2026Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Brent to recruit an experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant for September.The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with young people, manage challenging behaviour calmly and provide consistent support both inside and outside the classroom.About the RoleYou will support pupils who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement and the demands of mainstream education.Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 and small-group supportHelping pupils regulate their emotions and behaviourSupporting classroom engagementBuilding positive relationships with studentsWorking alongside teachers and pastoral staffSupporting behaviour plans and individual strategiesHelping pupils develop confidence and independenceWhat We Are Looking ForYou must have previous experience working in a school or education setting.Experience working with pupils with SEMH, challenging behaviour, ADHD, autism or social and emotional needs would be particularly beneficial.The successful candidate will be calm, consistent and confident when dealing with challenging situations.
