Behaviour Mentor - GreenwichLocation: Greenwich, South East London Position: Behaviour Mentor Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: ASAP Pay: 117- 135 per dayRemedy Education are looking for a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Greenwich.This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs or additional needs. You will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support to help them remain engaged in education.The Role:Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupilsSupporting students with challenging behaviour and SEMH needsUsing positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategiesHelping pupils regulate their emotions and remain engaged in lessonsBuilding strong, positive relationships with studentsSupporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural developmentWorking alongside teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teamsHelping to maintain a safe and positive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Previous experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviourExperience within a school, PRU, alternative provision, youth work or similar setting is desirableStrong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsCalm, confident and resilient approachAble to build positive relationships with challenging pupilsReliable and committed to a full-time roleThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Behaviour Mentor ..... full job details .....
