The successful Behaviour Mentor will become an important source of consistency for pupils who may need additional support with their behaviour, emotions or engagement in school.What will you be doing?Your day-to-day role will involve:Providing dedicated 1:1 and small-group supportHelping pupils understand and regulate their emotionsDeveloping positive relationships with children who may find school challengingSupporting pupils to recognise triggers and develop appropriate coping strategiesEncouraging positive choices and attitudes towards learningHelping children build self-esteem, confidence and resilienceSupporting pupils during periods of dysregulation or challenging behaviourReinforcing clear and consistent boundariesWorking alongside teachers and pastoral/SEN staffHelping pupils develop the independence needed to manage situations more successfullyCreating a calm and positive presence around the schoolWho would suit this role?Previous experience within a SEMH or ..... full job details .....
