We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join our secondary school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who is committed to improving outcomes for young people and creating a positive, inclusive school environment. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement and attendance. You will build positive, trusting relationships with students and provide consistent, supportive interventions that help them make positive choices and succeed in school. The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one and small-group mentoring to students with behavioural, emotional and social needs. Building positive and trusting relationships with students, acting as a consistent and positive role model. Supporting students to understand and manage their emotions and behaviour. Helping students develop strategies to make positive choices and improve their engagement with learning. Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, SENCO and senior leaders to identify and address barriers to learning.
