You will be working closely with a child who can display challenging behaviour and requires consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day. The child can find it difficult to remain in the classroom and may leave the learning environment or run off when they become unsettled. As the Behaviour Mentor, your role will be to build a strong and trusting relationship with the child, understand their individual needs and help them regulate their behaviour before supporting them back into the classroom.
