Behaviour Mentor - Secondary SchoolLocation: Haringey, North London Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, term-time Salary: Competitive, depending on experienceAre you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?We are working with a secondary school in Haringey that is looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral team from September 2026.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with young people who can build strong relationships, manage challenging behaviour and help students develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.The RoleSupporting students with behavioural, social and emotional needsWorking 1:1 and in small groups with students who require additional supportHelping students manage their behaviour and emotionsDeveloping positive and trusting relationships with studentsSupporting students to improve their engagement, attendance and attitude towards learningWorking closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the SEN teamHelping to implement individual behaviour and support plansDe-escalating challenging situations calmly and professionallyEncouraging students to develop independence, resilience and positive behaviourThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience working with young people, particularly within a school or youth settingExperience supporting challenging behaviour is highly desirableCalm, patient and resilient personalityExcellent ..... full job details .....
