Long Term Futures is recruiting a resilient and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive secondary school in Hackney. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with experience supporting young people with behavioural, emotional, or additional learning needs who is committed to helping students overcome barriers to education. Working closely with pastoral leaders, SEN staff, and classroom teachers, you will provide targeted support to students who require guidance with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement. You will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural and emotional needs.Build positive, consistent relationships that encourage trust and engagement.Support students in accessing learning and remaining focused during lessons.Implement behaviour support strategies and restorative approaches in line with school policies.Assist with individual behaviour plans and targeted intervention programmes.Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and emotional regulation.Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, SEN staff, and external ..... full job details .....
