Behaviour Mentor Location: Birmingham Pay Rate: £110 - £120 per day Start Date: September Start Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract: Long-Term with Potential Permanent OpportunityLong Term Futures are recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school from September. This role will focus on supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with children who require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.The successful candidate will become part of a strong pastoral and SEN team, providing both 1:1 mentoring and small group interventions for pupils with SEMH needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships, act as a role model and help pupils develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.The RoleProvide targeted 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsDeliver small group interventions focusing on emotional wellbeing, social skills and self-regulationSupport pupils in managing their emotions and behaviours positivelyHelp pupils overcome barriers to learning and improve classroom engagementUse restorative and trauma-informed approaches to support behaviourWork collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff to implement support plansThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needs within a primary school settingLevel 3 ..... full job details .....
