As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding young learners in developing positive behavioural patterns. Your role will be instrumental in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers, counsellors, and other support staff to implement tailored strategies that address individual student needs. Key responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor role include: Providing one-on-one and small group support to students struggling with behavioural challenges, helping them develop self-regulation skills and positive coping mechanisms. Collaborating with teachers to identify and address the root causes of disruptive behaviours, and implementing effective intervention strategies. Maintaining detailed records of student progress, behavioural incidents, and the interventions implemented, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Facilitating targeted workshops and group activities that promote social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, and positive decision-making.
