This flexible role supports the hospital during peak periods, annual leave, and staff absence, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Duties and responsibilities:Deliver a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service across the hospital siteCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), testing, calibration, and fault findingDiagnose and repair faults across plant, equipment, and building systemsSupport installation works and ensure all systems operate safely and efficientlyKey Areas of Responsibility:Electrical and general building maintenanceWater systemsVentilation systemsDecontamination equipmentMedical gas systemsGeneral engineering dutiesThe RoleYou will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with HTM guidelines, PPM schedules, and manufacturer instructions at all times.Who we''re looking for:Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringCity and Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant disciplineProven experience in building services within a similar environmentStrong working knowledge of plant and building systemsAbility to prioritise workloads and respond to changing demandsUp-to-date understanding of compliance and relevant ..... full job details .....
