Band 8a Clinical Specialist Sonographer | Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

OverviewThe Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Specialist Sonographers to join the Imaging Team at the Community Diagnostic Hub at Finchley Memorial Hospital.

As a specialist sonographer, you will be involved in delivering ultrasound services including gynaecological, general abdominal, small parts, paediatric and MSK ultrasound examinations. Flexible working is considered.

Responsibilities

Deliver ultrasound examinations across gynaecology, general abdomen, small parts, paediatric and MSK specialisms.

Contribute to modernisation and workforce development, and support efficient service delivery.

Engage in clinical teaching, professional development, audit and collaborative projects.

Participate in training and CPD opportunities and contribute towards career development, potentially progressing to Consultant level.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of two years post-qualification experience.

At least one clinical specialism to include MSK and Head and Neck.

Highly competent, adaptable to change, and willing to contribute to service development.
