We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Gynaecology Outpatients team located at King George Hospital and Queen''s Hospital. The successful candidate will provide strong, visible, empathetic leadership with a working knowledge of HR processes and roster management across both sites, and uphold high standards of care.You will have opportunities for personal and professional development and will work with a supportive leadership team to succeed in your role.Responsibilities

Provide visible, compassionate, and effective leadership within the Gynaecology Outpatient Department, a busy unit operating across King George Hospital (Laurel) and Queen\''s Hospital.Collaborate with Lead Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Pre-Assessment, and the broader MDT to manage and develop the nursing team.Demonstrate inclusive leadership to promote a culture of respect, safety, and continuous improvement.Develop service initiatives, lead quality improvement projects, and support staff development through mentorship, regular appraisals, and performance reviews.Ensure patient care remains safe, high-quality, and patient-centered while empowering staff in a positive, supportive environment.Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Registered Nurse with NMC registration and at least 3 years of clinical and management experience at B6 level or equivalent.Desirable: Leadership CPD; experience in sickness management, HR policy governance, appraisals, and roster management; previous outpatient or gynaecology experience.Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates confident leadership within the MDT.Details
