Overview
You will provide visible, compassionate, and effective leadership within our Gynaecology Outpatient Department—a busy and dynamic unit operating across both King George Hospital (Laurel) and Queen''s Hospital. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of specialist clinics. You will work closely with the Lead Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Pre-Assessment team, and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to manage the nursing team on a day-to-day basis and support professional development. You will demonstrate kind, fair, and inclusive leadership, promoting a culture of respect, safety, and continuous improvement. This role requires a high level of professional autonomy and a sound understanding of local policies, clinical guidelines, and governance frameworks. You will take an active leadership role in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and staff development through mentorship, regular appraisals, and performance review processes. You will need to be an experienced manager who provides strong and confident leadership to the team. The right candidate will demonstrate visible, empathetic and kind leadership skills, with working knowledge of HR processes and roster management across both sites. You will need to uphold high standards of care and consider the best interests of the team. Responsibilities
