Band 6 Speech and Language TherapistAn outstanding specialist educational setting in West London is seeking a motivated, flexible and innovative Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join its friendly and supportive Therapy Team.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists from other disciplines to promote pupils'' holistic development, independence and functional skills. The role offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based interventions across a range of areas, including feeding, speech, language, social communication and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.The therapist will play an important role in embedding Speech and Language Therapy strategies throughout the school environment, helping pupils access their learning and develop communication skills across their daily routines.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy within a specialist educational setting.Assess pupils'' communication needs and develop appropriate therapy programmes.Support interventions at universal, targeted and specialist levels.Work closely with teachers, therapists, parents and carers to integrate therapy goals into pupils'' education.Contribute to clinical assessment, treatment planning and implementation of therapy programmes.Use standardised assessments and clinical observation to inform clinical decision-making.Promote positive behaviour and communication within a nurturing environment.Embed therapeutic ..... full job details .....
