Automotive Service Advisor

Godalming Area | £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary | Monday to Friday

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a well-established independent specialist garage in the Godalming area.

This is a varied role that combines traditional Service Advisor duties with light workshop coordination responsibilities. Working alongside another Service Advisor, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop while delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

• Managing customer bookings and service enquiries
• Providing updates to customers throughout the repair process
• Preparing estimates and invoices
• Liaising with technicians and monitoring workshop progress
• Supporting workshop scheduling and workflow management
• Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and customers receive a first-class experience

This is not a productive workshop controller position, but candidates with some workshop control or workshop coordination experience will be at a distinct advantage.

About You

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is essential
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
• Knowledge of workshop operations and job flow
• Workshop control experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• A positive, team-focused approach

What's On Offer?

• £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday working hours only (8:00am - 5:30pm)
• No weekend work
