IT Automation Engineer Location: Watford (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office, 2 days working from home)Salary: £45,000 - 51,000 + Car allowance £5K About the Role My client is seeking an experienced IT Automation Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled automation professional to play a key role in driving operational efficiency, technical innovation, and business transformation through automation technologies. As an IT Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and supporting automation solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to identify opportunities for automation, modernise legacy processes, and deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft Azure and related technologies. This role offers the chance to contribute to the development of an "Automation as a Service" capability while ensuring all solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with best practice standards. Key Responsibilities Identify, analyse, prioritise, and implement service and business improvements through automation. Design, develop, test, document, and maintain automation solutions using modern DevOps methodologies and standards.
