Solution Engineer (Automation)

Job Title: Solution Design (part of the Pre-Sales team) Location - Hybrid (1-2 times a week working from the office based in Milton Keynes) VISA is not offered so only apply if you have one. Salary: up to £50.000 + discretionary bonus equivalent to 10% + pension, medical and life insurance. Our client specialises in automation solutions within the FandB industry (conveyors, material handling etc); so we are looking for someone with advanced mechanical engineering skills as well as some experience in automation, preferably in industrial / manufacturing / logistics settings. The Solution Design Engineer will play an important role in driving and supporting the growth of the business in the UK, collaborating with the sales team to deliver customer solutions. Identify the best technical solutions for sales, considering the customer requirements, flow analysis and costs Create the project layout, the estimate, and the offer Evaluate documents/tenders relating to specific requests and interface with other teams (procurement, project operations, industrial operations) to gather necessary information for the development of the project within the required timeframe.
