Audit and Accounts Senior

Overview

A niche 2 partner Chartered Accountancy firm, based in North West London, member of the HAT Group of Accountants, is looking to recruit a senior to perform a 60% audit and 40% accounts preparation role.Client sectors ranges across a variety of areas including Retail, Technology and Manufacturing. You will be working mainly on small and medium sized clients.The position will involve dealing with a wide range of UK companies and UK subsidiaries of international groups. Duties will involve preparing accounts and carry out audits both on an individual and a group level.Responsibilities

Provide the Partner with fully completed assignments within budget.Supervise junior members and provide on the job training.Role will be varied, challenging and offer great progression prospects to manager grade.Person specification

The successful candidate must be ACCA/ACA qualified and have at least 2 years post qualification experience of working in a UK practice environment. The role requires a determined character, with excellent knowledge of current UK accounting and auditing standards. You must have experience leading audits from planning to completion, supervising small teams and also preparing accounts and corporation tax computations. Excellent written, verbal and face to face communication skills are essential as there is lots of client contact. Applicant should be self-driven with good interpersonal skills.Package
