Audit and Accounts Senior

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be collaborating with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisors to recruit an Audit and Accounts Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected practice that prides itself on delivering tailored services and building long-term client relationships across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.

Prepare statutory accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards.

Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.

Build strong client relationships and function as a key point of contact throughout the engagement.

Assist partners and managers with ad-hoc projects and advisory work as required.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience).

Previous experience in similar role within practice.

Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Organised, detail-focused, and confident in leading and supporting a team.
