Associate Flood Risk Consultant Leeds £70,000 - £75,000 Hybrid An established and growing environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Flood Risk Consultant to join its Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced flood risk professional looking to progress their career within a specialist team, working on a diverse range of projects across the UK. You''ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, develop client relationships and support the growth and development of more junior members of the team. The Role You will be involved in a varied workload covering flood risk, drainage and water management, supporting projects from initial assessment through to planning and delivery. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing, managing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies. Providing flood risk and drainage advice for residential, commercial and infrastructure developments. Undertaking and reviewing hydraulic modelling and interpreting modelling outputs. Developing sustainable drainage solutions and assessing SuDS proposals. Liaising with clients, local authorities, Lead Local Flood Authorities and the Environment Agency. Managing projects, programmes and budgets. Preparing technical reports, proposals and fee submissions. Attending client and project meetings and developing strong working relationships.
